Promenade
Deck is host to many entertainment and dining options of Carnival
Pride. The Taj Mahal Lounge is located completely forward and
also spans upward to Atlantic Deck and Main Deck. The Taj Mahal
Lounge can accommodate 1,167 guests and is the ship's main show
lounge. Guests can expect nightly shows here including those of
the Carnival Pride's singers and dancers.
The Taj Mahal lounge celebrates the beauty of architecture. It is
filled with intricate, Indian designs, elephant friezes, and stonework
with small jewels pressed into decorative designs and illuminated from
behind.
Aft of the Taj Mahal Lounge is the Crystal Card Room and it can
accommodate up to twenty guests. The Piazza Café is just steps
away from the Crystal Card Room and features specialty coffee beverages
and delectable snacks for a reasonable charge.
The 1889 work of art 'Starry Night' by Vincent van Gogh is the décor
premise for the Starry Night Jazz Club located on the port side of
Promenade Deck. Guests will feel as if they have walked into a
courtyard surrounded by walls, windows, and shutters. Of course,
'Starry Night' is used as wall and ceiling murals and it is illuminated
by tiny lights.
Carnival Pride's sports bar, The Perfect Game can accommodate up
to 67 sports fans and emphasizes the beauty of experience. A
whimsical and fun décor is boasted here by the means of many types of
sports balls which serve as wall sculptures and table bases.
Furthermore, the curtains depict basketball hoop netting to round off
the theme.
For those in the mood for gaming, the Winner's Club Casino is adjacent
to the sports bar. Paintings of horses along the walls and ceiling
convey an atmosphere of victory in the Jockey Club at the Kentucky
Derby. There is also a mural of Churchill Downs and bas-relief
statues of jockeys.
The base of the Renaissance Atrium is amidships on Promenade Deck and
hosts essential guest services such as the Information Desk and the
Shore Excursions Office. The beauty of the Renaissance is apparent
in the soaring nine-deck atrium. The works of a variety of Italian
artists including Botticelli and Raphael can be seen here. One
specific work featured in the lobby is that of Paolo Veronese and is
titled 'Celebrates, Glories & Triumphs of Venice' from 1696 to 1770.
Proceeding aft along Promenade Deck, the predominance of Italian art and
culture can be seen in the Florentine Lounge. The Florentine
Lounge can accommodate up to 85 guests and features the 'Venus Urbino'
by Titian from 1488 to 1490. Overhead are beautiful hanging
crystal flowers where fiber optic stamens change colour.
Accompanying framed copies of Italian master artists is maroon and gold
furniture.
The Captain's Club room is a supplementary annex to the Normandie
Restaurant and can set up to 86 guests at approximately ten large
