Closing Thoughts

Exquisite works of art are demonstrated by means of artist Eppe de Haan's marble busts, Aldert Mantje and Jan Maris' paintings that present 'The Dutch Golden Age', Rodolfo Sanz's miniature theater sculptures, Bas Sebus' stateroom art, and Jan Van't Hoff's still life paintings.

The father and son team of Peter and Sven de Ru are responsible for the Rembrandt collage located in the Pinnacle Grill.  This is a digital collage of images compiled from works by Dutch masters and captures the essence of famous painters.

Inspired by the World of the Dutch East India Company in the 17th century are the maps of Johannes Vingboons.  In addition to the maps are landscapes and cityscapes that indicate much of 17th century architecture and way of life.  The best and most interesting works of Vingboons were selected for Eurodam.

Also of key importance are the crystal creations of Hans Van Bentem, master copies of Geert Jan Jansen, impressive cabinets of Johan Van Der Knaap, and Holland America Line historical paintings of Captain Stephen J. Card.

Sailing behind her name, Eurodam proudly sails European waters not only in her inaugural season but well into the future.  She also delivers guests a piece of Europe on other global voyages such as Canada & New England and the sun splashed Caribbean.

Eurodam impeccably delivers a classic Holland America Line experience while providing an onboard experience of innovation, selection, and flexibility for a new age of cruising.
