The
forward section of Lido Deck is comprised of double occupancy interior
staterooms and double occupancy ocean view staterooms with
balconies. Located just aft of the accommodations are the Prego
Pizzeria, Mermaid's Tail Bar, and Trident Grill. Prego
Pizzeria serves up freshly made pizza by the slide. The Mermaid's
Tail Bar, which seats 17 guests, accompanies the theme of the nearby
Neptune's Reef and Pool. The Trident Grill offers guests hot dogs,
hamburgers, and other lunch specialties. Neptune's Reef is comprised of a spacious pool along with sculptures, colorful mosaics, whirlpool spas, and expansive sun areas. For more cool refreshment, Sundaes Ice Cream Bar is located on the starboard side of Neptune's Reef. Proceeding aft from Neptune's Reef is the Calypso Reef and Pool which is part of the conservatory and has a retractable glass dome to cover the area in inclement weather. Further expanding upon Golden Princess' Personal Choice Dining programme is the twenty-four hour Horizon Court which seats 620 guests indoors and 105 at the Horizon Terrace just aft. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner are served in the Horizon Court buffet style and then a full-service bistro is offered from the late day to early morning hours. Hungarian artist Istvan Bernath has developed much of the acrylic on canvas artwork throughout the Horizon Court such as the pieces 'Weekend at Cannes' and 'French Riviera'. The aft Horizon Terrace offers guests the opportunity to dine al fresco and located there as well is the Outrigger Bar. This aft section of Lido Deck looks down to the Terrace Pool located on Baja Deck. |
