gp09_132.jpg (124787 bytes) gp09_133.jpg (119542 bytes) Plaza Deck is home to The Piazza which includes the Vines Bar, Vines Shop, International Café, and Lobby Bar.  Street side entertainment also takes place at scheduled times of the day in the Piazza area.  This entertainment includes roving entertainers in conjunction with the two new dining options.

The Vines Bar offers a selection of more then thirty wines by the glass in addition to a selection of seafood, artisan meats and cheeses, and a wine shop where guests may purchase their favorite bottle of wine.

The International Café serves up specialty coffees, freshly baked cookies, pastries, panini sandwiches, and tapas.  Certain items may incur a surcharge.

Located off of the Piazza on the starboard side of the ship is Golden Princess' Library and Internet Café.  Guests may purchase Internet time packages and also use the ship's wireless Internet capabilities.

Located amidships on Plaza Deck is the Bernini Dining Room.  The Bernini Dining Room is named after the Italian artist Gian Lorenzo Bernini who was perhaps the greatest sculptor of the seventeenth century and was also an outstanding architect.  Bernini created the baroque style of sculpture and developed it to such an extent that other artists are considered of only minor importance in a discussion of that style.

The Bernini Dining Room, which seats 486, is dedicated to Anytime Dining from approximately the hours of 17:30 to 22:00.  Anytime Dining offers a flexible dining experience and gives Golden Princess' guests the freedom to dine with whomever they like at their convenience.

Also located amidships and just forward of the Bernini Dining Room is the ship's atrium with panoramic lifts.  During the transformation in 2009, Golden Princess' atrium itself received attention such as the replacement of its chandelier.  Existing artwork remains, however, such as the bronze sculpture 'Standing Woman' by United States artist George Kerish.  Artist George Kerish has a primary focus of portraying the sensuous forms and infinite poses of the human body.
