Located
completely forward on deck twelve is the upper level of VitalitySM
Spa. Encircling the amidships to forward portion of deck twelve is
the ship's jogging track, which is available for all guests to use any
time and proper shoes are recommended.
Aft of the VitalitySM
Spa on deck twelve is the Sky Bar, with capacity for just a few
guests. Walking aft along deck twelve, guests have a view down one
deck of the main pool, sports pool, and H2O Zone.
A fun and popular
casual dining eatery located on deck twelve aft, starboard side is
Johnny Rockets®, with capacity for 84 guests. This well known
brand that was rolled out on the Voyager of the Seas was so well
acclaimed that it was continued on all new ships after and even expanded
to Monarch and Majesty of the Seas during refits.
Johnny Rockets®, a '50s style diner, features red naugahyde booths,
formica counters, a jukebox, burgers, fries, and old fashioned malted
milk shakes. |
Aft
on deck twelve is really where it's all at for young cruisers aboard Independence

Ocean®, The Living Room, Fuel, and Challenger's Arcade. With such
exciting opportunities for kids and teens on board, they can have fun
while mom catches a Pilates class and dad tries his luck at surfing.

For
guests from fifteen to seventeen years of age, activities include dance,
toga & pool parties, movie nights, video game competitions, teen
dinners, karaoke, and more.
Teens are always a very important age range of their own. The
facilities and programming incorporated a teen advisory board where
young guests were surveyed on board on exactly what they would like to
see and do on a cruise. The Living Room is a laid back place for
teens to hang out and meet new friends and Fuel is a teens only club
where they can gather, dance, and enjoy music. |
