verandah and penthouse suite guests are also entitled to use the Neptune
Lounge. The Neptune Lounge is a great place to relax and enjoy the
personalized service of a concierge. Also located in the Neptune
Lounge are worktables, a large screen television, library, sofas and
chairs, wi-fi service, no-host mini bar and, refreshments throughout the
day. A twenty-four hour phone concierge service is also available
when the Neptune Lounge is closed.
Other
stateroom categories aboard Eurodam include exterior staterooms
(170 to 185 sq ft.), deluxe verandah staterooms (254 sq ft.), superior
verandah suites (389 sq ft. with verandah), deluxe verandah suites (500
to 700 sq ft. with verandah), and two penthouse suites (1,318 sq ft.
with verandah). The latter two categories feature a host of
amenities including complimentary laundry and pressing service, corsages
and boutonnieres for the first formal night, priority boarding for
tender ports of call, high tea service en suite upon request, and much
more.
The ship's sixty deluxe verandah suites and fifty superior verandah
suites emphasize rich walnut and powder blue and champagne coloured
fabrics, along with contemporary leather furniture and brushed nickel
finishes. Deluxe verandah suites display reproductions of original
Matisse and Picasso drawings, along with colourful Tuscany landscapes
created from original woodcuts.
Superior verandah suites also utilize historic photographs of New York
and Amsterdam and colourful reproductions of original paintings by
avant-garde Dutch artist Karel Appel. Following similar themes
with understated colours and woods paired with classical art themes, Nieuw
Amsterdam's two penthouse verandah suites were designed by
Architectenbureau VFD, Utrecht, the Netherlands. |
