Deck
twelve is a sprawling space to host all that is sun, fun, food, and pure
relaxation, all at the same time.
For guests whose idea of vacation is to be pampered, they will be
spending a good part of their cruise in the Bora Bora Health Spa and
Beauty Salon. Commanding prime forward looking real estate herein
is the common area relaxation / wet area, which includes a
Thalassotherapy pool. Adjacent to, and parallel to this area are
dedicated male and female thermal suites.
A unique feature within the relaxation areas is a plunge pool where guests can become truly invigorated after taking it easy in the warmer pools. Gender specific steam rooms and saunas area also available within. Each of the saunas is located over the bridge wings and provides expansive windows.
The relaxation suite is available for guest use at an additional cost by the day. Full cruise packages are also available to fully enjoy all that it has to offer. |
The LifeStyle Room, with a capacity for thirty four, is ideal for those who would like to hide out and read, play cards, or write out postcards. Just next door is the card room which can set up to twenty eight guests. Individuals or small groups can play board games, bridge, or other card games.
The library is next along this corridor and can seat up to twenty four guests. Lazy sea days can be spent here, enjoying a book from the well stocked shelves. |

Located
amidships outdoors are the twin Sapphire pools along with six hot
tubs. Aft and port side of the Sapphire Pool is the Topsiders Bar & Grill. Topsiders is a full bar and grill which offers a dining alternative to those guests who are enjoying the poolside sun. The bar is located on the port side and the grill is starboard.
A waterfall pours into the forward pool from deck thirteen.
Norwegian's Freestyle Cruising concept also makes plenty of room for the youth on board. There are dedicated facilities for kids and teens with supervised, age-appropriate activities that will keep all members of the family occupied and happy. Just some of the youth-specific venues on deck twelve are the
Club Underground, Aqua Kid's Club, Video Arcade, and Kid's Pool.
The Garden Café and Kid's Café, with a capacity of 390, offer a
casual, family-friendly atmosphere and menu including omelets, pasta,
soups, and international specialties. There is also a kid-sized
section.
Completely aft on deck twelve is a traditional Norwegian Cruise Line dining venue, the Great Outdoors Restaurant. This is an extension of the Garden Café and also provides food and beverage service lines. It is a great place to enjoy seaside casual meals in the sun or shade.
Located aft and parallel to the Garden Café is Norwegian Jewel's
specialty Italian restaruant, Mama's Italian Kitchen, which accommodates
110 guests and has a nominal surcharge.
Mama's Kitchen offers guests the opportunity to enjoy pasta with a
choice of savory sauces in a casual atmosphere. There are also
crispy, fresh salads, pizza, authentic Italian desserts, along with a
fine wine list and espresso drinks to top off the meal. Mama's
kitchen offers a casual farmhouse style décor with large, family style
tables. Lining the walls are various in-laid shelving units with
pottery and kitchen utensils.
