Aft on deck fourteen and located just behind Norwegian Pearl's funnel is a rock climbing wall. Guests can try their skill at this exciting sport during scheduled times of the day with a qualified staff member on duty. Made popular with the introduction of Norwegian Star is the concept of Garden Villa accommodations. Norwegian Pearl has expanded the concept, however, into a number of suites that share common areas. Sharing a private courtyard amidships on deck fourteen are two deluxe owner's suites and ten smaller, albeit still expansive, courtyard villas. The deluxe owner's suites, which overlook the Tahitian Pool, are 4,390 square feet and are comprised of a living room, dining room, and three separate bedrooms - each with king or queen size bed and private luxury bath. These suites also include access to an exclusive concierge lounge, private courtyard area, and butler service. The other courtyard villas on deck fourteen are also quite impressive and include a living area, private balcony, dining area, separate bedroom with king or queen size bed, and separate children's bedroom. Deck fourteen continues forward with an expansive sun deck surrounding the ship's mast. There is also a whimsical, oversized shower presumably designed with the younger cruisers in mind. On sunny sea days, a generous amount of deck chairs are available for use.
