Located
completely aft on Deck Six is the Summer Palace Restaurant, one of Norwegian
Pearl's main dining rooms, and seats 558 guests. The
room theme is based upon a Neo Classical Russian palace. The
Summer Palace is a tribute to the grand palaces of St. Petersburg and
the era of great Tsars of Russia. Accentuating this theme are high ceilings, opulent lighting fixtures,
and statues.
A number of seating options exist throughout the Summer Palace
Restaurant, including along the aft where guests may enjoy views from
the wall of windows.
Just slightly forward
of the Summer Palace Restaurant is Indigo Restaurant. This is
another dining venue where guests may eat at any time and there is no
surcharge. The dining room is appointment in a brilliant spectrum
of blues and lavenders, spotted with a contrasting orange throughout.
Free-standing tables occupy much of the space while booths border the
304 seat dining room. Within the booths are colorful artistic
images of major cities throughout the United States. Images also
line the outside walls with close-up shots of American city icons.
While both the Summer Palace and Indigo restaurants feature five course
meals, each location has its own individual lure. Indigo, for one,
hosts a more intimate atmosphere while the Summer Palace provides that
of grandeur and opulence. |

One
of the popular concepts on newer Norwegian Cruise Line ships is the Bar
Central idea. Within just steps of one another is a variety of
different bars, each with its own unique concept and menu of offerings.
Just aft of the Indigo Restaurant is the first of them - Maltings Beer
& Whiskey Bar. One of the main fixtures within is a steam
heater which would be located within the still house. This is a
key piece of equipment used in the process of malting whisky.
Proceeding further down Bar Central are Magnum's Champagne & Wine
Bar and Shaker's Martini & Cocktail Bar. Magnum's décor is a
salute to Paris on the 1920's and its inspiration is French Art
Deco. The décor throughout all of Bar Central this area is very
colorful and whimsical to easily complement the good times to be had at
any one of these (or multiple) bars.
At the focal point of
Bar Central is a mini atrium that leads guests up to deck seven.
This area itself also provides an impressive area in which to sit, enjoy
a cocktail, and people watch.
Tucked back on the port side of deck six is Norwegian Cruise Line's
famous Le Bistro Restaurant, seating 129 guests. Le Bistro's menu
is modern and classic French cuisine. Throughout Norwegian Cruise
Line's history, Le Bistro has been known for it's stellar service and
exquisite menu. Advanced reservations are highly recommended for
Le Bistro a surcharge is also in place.
Also located within Bar
Central is the Corona Cigar Club, which is one of the only few places on
board where it is acceptable to smoke in public areas. It is a
charming and intimate locale with an alluring scent of fine, rich, smoky
leather.
Proceeding aft on deck six, guests will find themselves in the visually
stimulating world of the Pearl Club Casino. With the theme of
traveling circuses from the turn of the century, guests may partake in
games such as Roulette, Blackjack, Craps, Let it Ride, and Caribbean
Stud Poker.
Completely forward on
deck six - and stretching up throughout decks five through seven - is
the Stardust Theater. The Stardust Theater accommodates 1,042
guests in a true theater style setting so that every seat in the house
has a clear view of the stage.

a European art deco background setting, the Stardust Theater hosts stage
shows by Jean Ann Ryan Productions. At the time of Norwegian
Pearl's introduction, three shows were being featured : 'Tubez',
'Sea Legs', and 'Garden of the Geisha'.

multi-functional meeting rooms : Prague, Vienna, and Barcelona. |
