Closing Thoughts

Carnival Triumph is a refreshing member of the Carnival Cruise Line fleet featuring an international feel.  Triumph has also pursued itineraries other than just the Caribbean, such as Canada & New England.  Webmaster Steve J. Garrod Aboard Carnival Triumph
Carnival Triumph's ship builder, Fincantieri, gave a gift entitled 'The Story of Jonah and the Whale'.  It is a reproduction of a detail taken from the sixth century floor mosaic of the South Chapel in the Roman Basilica of Aquileia nearby the shipyard of Monfalcone.

Artwork was executed by the students of the International Mosaic School of Friuli in Spilimbergo in the year 1998 to 1999.

Carnival Triumph is decked out with a wide assortment of bright colored paintings that reflect international cities.
It is enjoyable for guests to explore Carnival Triumph and test their knowledge of the worldwide cities that are featured throughout the ship.
Carnival Triumph features a number of self-service launderettes (six, to be exact) and these are quite popular with guests.  While Triumph does not necessarily pursue long voyages, it is still nice to be able to complete laundry while on board and reduce that which needs to be completed upon returning home.
Carnival Triumph continues a number of long-standing traditions such as the winding pool slide that was first inaugurated aboard the Festivale in 1978.
Other traditional accents can be found throughout the ship and on the exterior decks such as wooden benches with the ship's name engraved in them.
Overall, Carnival Triumph is a clear winner in a number of very important categories.  She caters to both the young and young at heart.  She hosts facilities that every member of the family can enjoy simultaneously.  Her décor is fun and whimsical yet evolves in refinement from that which has always been typically expected aboard former Carnival Cruise Line ships.

Triumph excels at her year-round Caribbean itineraries but has the pizzazz and class to reach beyond the borders and explore International flavors that are suggested throughout her interior fixtures.
